Calligraphy on the move

Calligraphy, especially Arab and Eastern Asian calligraphy, can be a perfect base for animation movies. Those letters actually seem to scream: “Move us. Make us dance…!” Still it seems there are not that many calligraphic animation films you can find on the world wide web of videos. Here are a couple of nice ones though:
Another example of animated Arab words is the audio-visual performance “Ya Sharr Mout” (Arab: depending on the pronounciation this means either “son of a bitch” or “oh, evil, die”) by Lebanese composer Mahmoud Turkmani and the author of this video log.
